Last updated: 29 October 2026
We respect your data. In short: the website has no forms, accounts, cookies, traffic statistics or advertising. We process personal data only when you email us, so that we can reply. Vellanne apps run on your computer and do not send us your photos, projects or any other data.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data, within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), is:
[Company name], [legal form]
Registered office: [full address], Romania · Tax ID (CUI): [CUI]
Email for any request about personal data: contact@vellanne.online
2. What data we process, why, and on what basis
When you email us. We process your email address, your name (if you give it) and what you write to us, in order to reply and stay in touch, for example so you can try a Vellanne app. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where relevant, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
When you visit the website. Like any web server, the server hosting the website automatically logs technical information about requests: IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser type. This is used to run and secure the website, based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use it to identify you or for marketing.
What we don't do. We do not use cookies, analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), social media pixels or advertising. We do not sell or rent data to anyone and we do not make automated decisions about you.
3. How long we keep data
- Emails you send us: as long as needed for the conversation and no more than [2 years] after the last message, after which we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
- Server technical logs: as long as the hosting provider keeps them, usually a few weeks.
4. Who we share data with
Data may be accessed only by providers that help us operate, acting as processors under a contract with us:
- the hosting and email provider: [Namecheap, Inc., USA].
If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, this happens only with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. We may also disclose data to authorities where the law requires it.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right:
- to know whether we process data about you and to receive a copy (right of access);
- to have inaccurate data corrected (right to rectification);
- to have your data erased (right to be forgotten);
- to restrict processing;
- to receive your data in a structured format or have it sent to someone else (right to data portability);
- to object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
To exercise any of them, write to us at contact@vellanne.online. We reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal), B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28–30, sector 1, Bucharest, www.dataprotection.ro, or with the authority in the EU country where you live.
6. Vellanne apps
Vellanne apps run on your computer, without an account and without an internet connection. Your photos, projects and settings stay with you; the apps do not send them to us and do not send us usage statistics. If an app ever gets a feature that sends data over the internet, we will say so clearly beforehand and update this policy.
7. Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We keep emails in a protected mailbox and give access only to the people who need it to reply to you.
8. Children
The website and apps are not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly process their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The version in force is always the one on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
